The response to this year’s Trigg County Country Ham Festival was overwhelmingly positive, members of the Ham Festival Committee said when they met at the Renaissance Center Monday evening.

Cadiz Renaissance Director Leida Underhill said Ham Festival Committee members should look during the year for new attractions to bring to next year’s festival. Thelma Fowler suggested they look into getting Junk Beats, who make music with items like garbage cans.

Cadiz City Clerk Lisa Rogers said they spent more on entertainment than they have in previous years, but since people seemed to enjoy the performers, that was probably money well spent. Other Ham Committee members agreed.

Patsy Garrison said they sold almost all of the more than 500 Ham Festival t-shirts, and what they have left are mostly kids’ sizes.
