Are you familiar with the quote, poem, song: “The Last Rose of Summer?” Well here are the last books of Christmas!

“Pam’s Christmas Picks” “Christmas Cooking from the Heart” by Better Homes and Gardens, with recipes and more.

“Christmas Homecoming” by Anne Perry, this is a heartwarming Charlotte and Thomas Pitt novel. Charlotte’s mother, Caroline travels with her husband Joshua, and his theatrical troupe to Whitby, the Yorkshire fishing village where Dracula the vampire first touched English soil in the sensational novel named after him.

Joshua has arranged to produce a stage adaptation of Dracula by the daughter of Whitby millionaire Charles Netheridge during the Christmas holiday, but after the disastrous first read-through of her amateurish script, only the fact that the company is depending on Netheridge’s financial backing for their spring tour keeps them at work. But a stranger in a black cloak may have something up his sleeve.

“Treason at Lisson Grove” by Anne Perry this is not a Christmas book but it does feature Charlotte and Thomas Pitt. The two must work together to stop a plot against the British government.

“Explosive Eighteen” by Janet Evanovich, Stephanie’s big trip to Hawaii gets off to a bad start. Her dream vacation turns into a nightmare. And all she is saying is its complicated!

“Devil’s Gate” by Clive Cussler, this is a novel from the NUMA files, a Kurt Austin adventure. A Japanese cargo ship burns. And Austin and Zavala must investigate.

“Longing” by Karen Kingsbury, this is book three in the Baily Flanigan series. An unexpected loss may bring Cody and Bailey together.

“Sisters” by Nancy Jensen, this is her debut for this Kentucky author. A choice made in haste sets off a chain of misunderstandings that will divide the sisters thru three generations of women.

New Non-fiction: “Vincent Van Gogh” by Steven Naifeh, this is a biography of the famous artist.

“Perfectly Imperfect Home” by Deborah Needleman, this book will show you how to decorate and live well.

“Your Medical Mind” by Jerme Groopman, this book will help you decide what is right for you.

New Cookbook Pick: “Burgers” by Paul Gayler, from barbecue ranch to miso salmon these burgers will delight you.

New Audio Books: “Longing” by Karen Kingsbury, and “The Healing” by Wanda Brunstetter.

New CDs: “Christmas” by Michael Buble, “Christmas Symphony” by Mannheim Steamroller, and “Ultimate Christmas.”

New DVDs: “The Christmas Card,” “A Grandpa for Christmas,” and “Mama Mirabelle’s It’s Movie Time.”
