That means all lodge rooms and cottages will be open and available for use, seven days a week during January and February.
There will be some adjustments for the hours of operation for some restaurants at the 17 resort parks. Recreation parks and historic sites are also operating under winter hours. Guests should check in advance or visit the Department of Parks website at www.parks.ky.gov for details.
And if you’re looking for some winter adventure, the Kentucky State Parks have numerous outdoor events planned in January and February to get you outdoors and moving. They include elk viewing tours, hikes, looking for eagles at the Land Between the Lakes and watching sandhill cranes as they migrate through Kentucky.
