Trigg lost 74-6 to defending state champion Union County, defeated Ohio County 42-36 and Caldwell County 42-33. Trigg’s JV wrestlers also won 63-12.
As of Saturday, Trigg’s record in duals this season was 10-4, a new school record.
Jeremiah Kline was Trigg’s only undefeated wrestler of the day, finishing 4-0. Other Trigg wrestlers included Devonte Turner (2-0), Malik Cunningham (3-1), Elliott Boyd (3-1), Aaron Stevens (3-1), Tim Greer (3-1), Daniel Ingram (2-2), Warren Jones (2-2), Montgomery Smith (2-1), Cody Whittington (1-3), Chris Briggs (1-3) and Ryan Gallogly (1-3).
Trigg will host the middle school district meet Saturday in the high school gym, while the high school team travels to Owensboro.
