Funeral services for Archie Steven Cothran, 51, of Madisonville, formerly of Cadiz, will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, February 5, 2012 at King’s Funeral Home with visitation to begin after 9 a.m. The Rev. Billy Hart will officiate. Burial will follow in the East End Cemetery in Cadiz. King’s Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Cothran died following a long illness at 6 a.m. Monday, January 30, 2012 at his residence.

He was born September 10, 1960 in Princeton to the late John Cothran and Willie Estelle Fulks Hargrove.

Archie was of the Baptist faith and worked in construction.

He is survived by one brother, Franklin Hargrove of Cadiz; five sisters, Ella Hart of Cadiz, Janie McGhee of Hopkinsville, Julie Creamer of Cadiz, Angela Hargrove of Cadiz and Amy Hargrove of Hopkinsville; three sons, Thomas Skinner of Cadiz, Steven Harrell of Paducah and Trevor Cothran of Hopkinsville; three daughters, Cathy Tyler of Hopkinsville, Wendy Rhodes of Paducah and Christina Edmondson of Cadiz; nine grandchildren and special friend, Kitty Huddleston of Madisonville.

Pallbearers are Richard Fulks, Damarcus Hurt, Anthony Creamer, Curtis Shelton, Timothy Larose and Anthony Stone. Music will be provided by Clarissa King, pianist.
