Visitation will be from noon till 2 p.m. at Goodwin Funeral Home in Cadiz. The Rev. O.D. Boyd will officiate. Goodwin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Lawrence died of natural causes at 7:31 a.m. Monday, February 6, 2012 at his residence in Cadiz.
He was born February 29, 1924 in Trigg County to the late James “Jim” Waymon and Della Bell Hite Lawrence.
Mr. Lawrence was of the Baptist faith and was a retired farmer and carpenter.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Lee Lawrence; one sister, Irene Barnett; and one son, Edward Earl Lawrence.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Louise Wilson Lawrence of Cadiz; two daughters, Pearl Lawrence Wells of Eddyville and Bettye Lawrence Holt of Hopkinsville; four grandchildren, Ronnie Wells, Jr., Kisha Holt, David Holt, II, and Brittany McCullough; and three great-grandchildren, Destiny, Violet and Rebecca Holt.
