Services for Edward Herman Boyd, 74, of Antioch, Tenn., formerly of Wallonia, were held January 21, 2012 at Hickory Chapel / Woodbine Funeral Home in Nashville, Tenn. Graveside services were held later the same day at Wall Cemetery in Wallonia.

Mr. Boyd died of natural causes at 7:40 p.m. Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, Tenn.

He was born December 10, 1937 in Wallonia to the late Edward “Pee Wee” and Helen Robertson Boyd.

He was the owner and operator of Ed Boyd Construction Company and member of Wallonia Christian Church.

He is survived by two sisters, Charlotte LeNeave and Virginia Gardner both of Cadiz; two sons, Edward Boyd of Lebanon, Tenn. and Steve Boyd of Atlanta, Ga.; three grandchildren; three nephews, Greg LeNeave of Paducah and Gant Gardner of Cadiz and Stacy Gardner of Charlotte, N.C.
