Funeral services for Dorothy Faye Reed, 90, of Cadiz, were held Saturday, February 18, 2012 at Laurel Land Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas. Burial followed at Laurel Land Memorial Park in Dallas, Texas. Goodwin Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Reed died of natural causes at 7:45 p.m. Monday, February 13, 2012 at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn.

Dorothy Faye was born March 11, 1921 in Dallas, Texas to the late George Daniel and Minnie Jenkins Clark.

She was of the Baptist faith and was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Matthew Reed; three brothers, Marvin Clark, Lee Clark and Wayne Clark; and one son, George Kenneth Reed.

She is survived by one son, Michael Reed (and wife Linda) of Cadiz; five grandchildren, Juliane Reed, Debbie Lynn Reed, Daniel Max Reed, Denise Duncan and Marshall Reed; and nine great-grandchildren.
