Pictured are the elementary first place winners for Trigg County at Saturday’s Cardinal Classic archery competition in Adairville.

The Trigg County Arrowcats have been busy the past two weekends with tournaments across the region.

On Feb. 18, Trigg archers traveled to Murray High School and earned many spots on the top-five podium. Individual winners are as follows:

In the Elementary Female division, first place went to Kaylin Smith. The remaining are as follows: Macy Mitchell second, Anna Malone third, Addison Francis fourth, and Hannah McNichols fifth. In the Elementary Male division, first place went to Derek Joiner. Wyatt Wagoner placed third in the Elementary Male division.

Trigg Middle School ladies swept the podium spots. In first place, Elizabeth Wagoner, Deanna Ladd second, Kaila Cunnigham third, Kimberlee Shelton fourth, and Lora Lee Heady fifth. In the Middle School Male division, first place went to Clay Stevens, Branden Miller second, and Cody Wilson fifth.

Trigg County High School ladies swept the top five in their division. In first place, Sloane Patterson, second place Shaye Patterson, third place Brianna Messmer, fourth place Alexis Wiseman, and fifth place Kelsey Miller.
