Funeral services for William Ray Jones, 73, of Cadiz, were held Saturday, March 3, 2012 at Grace Pointe Church of the Nazarene in Indianapolis, Ind. Burial followed in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood, Ind. Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Greenwood was in charge of the arrangements.

William Jones died February 29, 2012 at Manor Care Prestwick in Avon, Ind.

He was born August 27, 1938 in Franklin to Clifton and Bertha Davenport Jones.

He was a machinist at Thomas L. Green Machine Shop for 39 years. His hobbies included fishing, woodworking, watching football and he was a huge fan of John Deere tractors.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers and five sisters.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Anita Dawson Jones; three sons, Rick Jones (and wife Tilena), Kevin Jones (and wife Amy) and Chuck Jones (and wife Alisha); two daughters, Cindy Knose and Lisa Crady (and husband Troy); 15 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
