The festival will be held May 26 – 27, at The Homeplace, a living history farm in the Land Between The Lakes National Recreation Area.
Come experience the best of old time music, attend workshops, pickin’ sessions, and performances of old-time fiddle, banjo, and bluegrass music, or bring acoustic instruments and join in the fun during the open-mic sessions.
The Homeplace is a step back in time offering visitors a glimpse into 19th century farm life. Festival foods and ice cold drinks will be available for purchase at the Pickin’ Party. Bring lawn chairs or ground blankets.
A panel of impartial judges selects the Kentucky Travel Industry Association’s Top 10 Festivals & Events for each season. Criteria for selection include popularity of the event, its impact on the local tourism economy as well as cultural and historical significance.
