Marjory “Marge” Cooper, 71, of Cadiz, died of natural causes at 5:50 p.m. Friday, March 9, 2012 at her residence. No services were held. King’s Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Marjory was born April 11, 1940 in Windsor, Canada to the late Frank Johnson and Lillian White Johnson.

She was a member of the Grace Episcopal Church in Paducah.

Marjory was a retired registered nurse from Lourdes Hospital, had worked at Western Baptist Hospital and taught nursing at PCC. She was a member of the Paducah HOG Chapter and was the co-owner of Porky’s Bar-B-Que.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.

She is survived by her husband Gene Cooper of Cadiz; two daughters, Kelli McDowell (and husband Gary) of Lone Oak and Karen Alkameyer (and husband Mike) of Draffenville; and two grandchildren, Jacob Wiggins of Paducah and Thomas Alkameyer of Draffenville.
