Memorial services for Terry L. Hite, 61, of Cadiz, will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, March 17, 2012 at King’s Funeral Home with military honors. Visitation is scheduled to begin at noon. The Rev. Nick Sandefur will officiate. King’s Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Hite died of natural causes at 4:20 p.m. Sunday, March 11, 2012 at his sister’s home.

He was born June 19, 1950 in Trigg County to the late Clyde Reed Hite and Ola Timmons Hite.

He was a member of Ricky Ridge Baptist Church, a heavy equipment operator and a United States Navy veteran having served in Vietnam. Terry was an avid golfer, Scrabble player and gardener.

He is preceded in death by one cousin, Danny Hite.

Survivors include two brothers, Michael T. Hite of Hopkinsville and Mitch Hite of Trigg County; three sisters, Brenda Hite Lile of Hopkinsville, Jean Hite Henault of Trigg County and Lezlie Hite Butts of Durham, N.C.; and two daughters, Tracy Hite of Clarksville, Tenn. and Joanna Hite Shelton (and husband Mark) of Louisville.
