A memorial mass for Kevin Patrick “Pat” McDermott, 58, of Glen Burnie, Md., formerly of Cadiz, was held, Monday, March 12, 2012 in Glen Burnie. A private internment was given in the family cemetery in Cumberland, Md.

Mr. McDermott died on Wednesday, February 15, 2012.

He was born June 19, 1953 in W. Va. to the late George F. and Doris Jean Mitchell McDermott.

He is survived by one sister, C. Rachel Finan of Glen Burnie, Md.; one brother, Francis Michael “Mac” McDermott of Cadiz; two sons, Bryan P. McDermott of Cumberland, Md. and Adam J. McDermott of Fort Meade, Md.; two daughters Mary R. Maier of Stevensville, Md. and Rita McDermott of Columbia, South America; four grandchildren, Chaz and Thomas James McDermott and Audrianna and Aidan Maier; six nephews; four nieces; eight great-nephews; and 13 great-nieces.
