Aaron won in the Cadet 195-pound division, pinning both of his opponents, while Colin won in the Novice 100-pound division, pinning all three of his opponents.
The series consists of three events, with the top four wrestlers in each division receiving points – 15 for first, 12 for second, nine for third and seven for fourth. The wrestler with the most points at the end of the third event will win his division.
The next event in the series will be held Saturday in Louisville, and the third will be held March 24 at Union County.
Trigg’s youth wrestlers had a solid day Saturday at Caldwell County and will host matches March 24 at Wildcat Gym.
