Trigg County picked up a win against Paducah Tilghman and lost to Union County and Christian County, dropping the Wildcats’ record to 2-3.

Monday, Trigg’s offense struggled and the defense committed four errors, leading to three unearned runs for Christian County in a 7-2 loss.

Saturday, the ‘Cats got a solid combined pitching performance from David Wease, Trace Kuberski and Zack Bridges in a 9-0 victory. Wease started, allowing three hits in four innings to get the win. At the plate, Trigg got all the scoring it needed in the second inning but added a seven-run third inning for good measure. Kuberski knocked in four runs and Hunter Allen smacked a two-run home run.

Friday, Allen pitched a complete game, striking out 12 Union County batters and keeping Trigg within striking distance, but the ‘Cats only managed one run in the seventh inning of a 4-1 loss.

Trigg was scheduled to play Tuesday against Muhlenberg County (results unavailable at press time).
