Mr. Wyatt died Sunday, March 25, 2012, at Metropolis Nursing and Rehab surrounded by his family.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Sadie Bridges Wyatt, and his parents Tillmon and Myrtle Wyatt of Princeton.
Mr. Wyatt was of the Baptist faith. He was a sergeant in the army. He was a World War II veteran having served in Japan. He retired from the Corp of Engineers, Lock and Dam number 53 in Olmsted, Ill. after 30 years of service.
He is survived by one sister, Lexie Ladd of Princeton; five children, Sandra Phillips of Cairo, Ill., Ronald Wyatt (and wife Anita) of Paducah, Cheryl Glass (and husband Jack) of Metropolis, Ill., Justin Wyatt (and wife Rhonda) of Metropolis, Ill. and Deborah Roberts (and husband John) of Metropolis, Ill.; one nephew, Ricky Ladd of Princeton and several nieces and nephews.
