Trigg County High School’s softball team added three to its current losing streak with a 3-2 defeat last Tuesday at Hopkinsville, a 15-5 loss Thursday against Caldwell County and a 15-0 loss Monday at Livingston Central.

The Lady Wildcats managed only three hits – two by Brianna Messmer – against 5th District foe Livingston. Against Caldwell, Trigg led 2-1 and trailed 7-5 after a three-run third but allowed eight Tiger runs in the fifth and sixth innings. Against Hopkinsville, Trigg led 2-0 entering the bottom of the ninth but couldn’t hold the lead.

Trigg was set to play Tuesday at Fort Campbell (results unavailable at press time) before hosting Lyon County on Thursday.
