Justin McGill/Cadiz Record
Trigg County shortstop Sierra Bush fields a grounder Thursday against Lyon County in a game that was later rained out.
Trigg County High School’s softball team picked up a win and had a game rained out last week.

The Lady Wildcats had no trouble last Tuesday in a 21-3 victory at Fort Campbell. Every batter in Trigg’s lineup recorded at least one run batted in, led by Brianna Messmer, who had a triple and four RBI, and Addison Rogers, who also knocked in four. Alison Russell, who knocked in three runs, also pitched a complete game, striking out five Fort Campbell hitters.

Trigg’s home game Thursday against Lyon County was rained out and will be played as part of a doubleheader April 24 in Eddyville. Trigg’s next game is at home Thursday against Logan County. The Lady ‘Cats open play in the 2nd Region All “A” Classic on Monday at Dawson Springs.
