Trigg County High School’s baseball team lost a pair of games and had another rained out last week.

The Wildcats lost Friday 10-7 at Caldwell County and last Tuesday 2-1 against Christian County. A rainout Thursday against Lyon County was sandwiched in between.

Friday, the Wildcats committed seven errors and fell victim to a seven-run fourth inning by the Tigers.

Last Tuesday was a pitching duel between Trigg’s Hunter Allen and Christian County’s Dixon Craft, both of whom pitched complete games. The Colonels got a pair of doubles in the seventh inning to score the winning run.

The rained-out game against Lyon County had not been rescheduled at press time. Trigg returns to action Monday in the first round of the 2nd Region All “A” Classic at Lyon County.

In junior varsity action, Trigg earned a 0-0 tie against Christian County and lost 10-7 to Caldwell.
