Monday, Trigg picked up a 14-5 win over West Creek. Tyler Estes led the way with three hits (including a double and a triple), followed by Tyler Allen, Gabe Nolcox and Reid Kuberski with two hits apiece. Drake Oliver, Will Allen and Matthew Skinner each had a hit, and Oliver pitched four innings, allowing two hits, three walks and striking out seven. Tyler Allen struck out two in a shutout inning on the mound.
Friday, Trigg defeated Montgomery Central 5-3. Estes pitched 5 and a third innings, allowing four hits, seven walks and striking out five. Tyler Allen, who led Trigg at the plate with a pair of hits, also pitched 1 and two-thirds innings, recording five strikeouts.
Trigg wil host Christian County at 7:15 p.m. Thursday at the Recreation Complex.
