Funeral services for Linda Sumner Creed, 48, of Cadiz, were held on Monday, April 30, 2012, at Goodwin Funeral Home in Cadiz. The Rev. David Ray Futrell officiated. Burial followed in the Lawrence Cemetery in Trigg County. Goodwin Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Linda died of natural causes at 7:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 26, 2012, at her residence.

She was born on Feb. 23, 1964, in Cadiz to the late Noble and Marguerite Gentry Sumner.

Linda was a member of the Living Waters Church.

She is survived by her boyfriend, William Noel “Bill” West of Cadiz; one brother, John G. Sumner of Cadiz; one sister, Dorothy Capes of Cadiz; one step-son, Joshua Keith West of Cadiz; and one step-daughter, Danielle Brown of Cadiz.

Pallbearers were Mike Jones, John Sumner, J.J. White, Josh West, Freddy Mac, Elmer Sutton, Ben McCoy and Roger Marlowe.
