The Merry Month of May! I think it should be the busy month of May! May has the Derby, Mother’s Day, Graduation, Memorial Day and it’s also Get Caught Reading month! I hope you get caught reading on of “Pam’s Picks”.

This week’s pick is “Betrayal” by Danielle Steel, we have this book in regular and large print. Tallie Jones is living a good life at film director. She has it all- a wonderful daughter, loving boyfriend and a hard working assistant. Then the bank calls and she finds out someone has been steadily funneling enormous amounts of money from her. She must now cast herself in her own real-life drama.

New Fiction: “Robert Ludlum’s: The Janson Command” by Paul Garrison, this is the newest Paul Janson novel. The Janson Directive has a new goal: save the world, one operation, one mission, and one redemption at a time.

“Raylan” by Elmore Leonard, this is a Marshal Raylan Givens mystery. Raylan always gets his man. But in this case he will need to get the gals before they get him. Marijuana was a big cash crop until someone found out a quarter of a million in body parts was faster and easier to get.

“Miss Julia to the Rescue” by Ann B. Ross, Miss Julia is feeling restless and we all know that can only mean trouble. Hazel Marie’s husband J.D. has gone missing and Miss Julia must rescue him. She will have to spring him from a backwoods sheriff. But if anyone can Miss Julia can do it.

New Kentucky Non-fiction: “Greetings from Kentucky” by Wade Hall, this is a collection of post cards from 1900-1950. It has a post card from Cerulean Springs, KY and the Eggner’s Ferry Bridges over the beautiful Kentucky Lake. It’s an aerial view of the bridge.

New Non-fiction: “Best Plants” edited by Lydia Darbyshire, this book will help you choose just the right plants for the right spot. This book gives information for over 1,000 plants.

“Matthew Robbins’ Inspired Weddings” by Matthew Robbins, this book will help you design your big day with favorite object and family treasures.

“Dunbar Cave: The Showplace of the South” by Larry E. Matthews, this book give the details of Dunbar Cave located in the city limits of Clarksville, Tenn. It has been open to the public for 146 years. It became a State Park in 1973.

New Large Print: “Against the Storm” by Kat Martin, this is book four in the Raines of Wind Canyon series. Private eye, Trace Rawlins, knows some women are trouble and redheads like this one are real trouble. But he can handle her case. As he digs deeper to find the source of the threats he discovers a secret that no one was meant to find. Can this be the cause of her troubles?
