Funeral services for Mr. Coy Patterson, 96, of Cadiz, were held on Friday, May 4, 2012, at Little River Baptist Church in Cadiz. The Rev. Perry Greenwade officiated. Burial followed in the Patterson’s Cemetery. Gamble Funeral Home in Hopkinsville was in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Patterson died of natural causes at 1:10 p.m. on Sunday, April 29, 2012, at Covington Nursing Home.

He was born on Dec. 19, 1915, in Trigg County to the late John Patterson, Jr. and Maggie Avery Thomas.

He was a member of the Little River Baptist Church and had worked for John Dell Builders.

He is survived by one sister, Ora Taylor of Louisville; and his caregiver, Bettie Milligan of Hopkinsville.
