Trigg’s qualifiers earned the trip Saturday at the AA 1st Region Championship at Paducah Tilghman.
Advancing to state are Jakelze Martin in three events (triple jump, high jump and long jump), Matthew Chinn and Valerie Barnes in the pole vault, the boys 4x100-meter relay team and the girls 4x100-meter and 4x200-meter relay teams.
Trigg likely missed out on another qualifier when the boys 4x200-meter relay team was disqualified for an exchange violation.
