Mr. Boaz died of natural caused at 12:17 a.m. on Wednesday, May 16, 2012, at Select Specialty Hospital in Evansville, Ind.
He was born on Dec. 5, 1949, in Caldwell County to the late Cordle and Ruby Lucille Cook Boaz.
Eddie was a member of Caldwell Blue Spring Baptist Church. He was a United States Air Force Veteran serving in Vietnam and a member of the American Legion. He was employed as a construction general superintendent.
He is survived by his wife, Glenda Boaz, of Princeton; two sisters, Judy Laurent of Brandenton, Fla. and Vicki Holsclaw of Murfeesboro, Tenn.; one son, Michael Boaz of Princeton; three daughters, Ashley Boaz and Melissa Boaz both of Princeton and Jennifer Dixon of Cadiz; and four grandchildren, Kelsie Dixon, John Meredith, Warren Boaz and Olivia Boaz.
Pallbearers were Johnny Young, John David Meredith, Ed Parrish, Joe Miller, Bud Ingram, Terrence Miller, Dusty Adams, Kyle Ingram, Joey Gamboa and Glen Green.
