Funeral services for Mr. R. W. “Bill” Jones, 90, of Eddyville, were held on Monday, June 4, 2012, at Lakeland Funeral Home Chapel in Eddyville. The Rev. Johnny Sams officiated. Burial followed in the Cedar Hill Cemetery in Princeton.

Mr. Jones died on Thursday, May 31, 2012, at Caldwell County Medical Center in Princeton.

He was a self-employed farmer and attended Heartland Worship Center in Paducah.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Pauline Anna Griffith Jones; his parents, Clyde Terry Jones and Auda Mae Beck Jones; and granddaughter Sallie Jones.

He is survived by one sister, Mary Elizabeth Jones of Princeton; one son, Gary Jones of Duluth, Minn.; one daughter, Cherri Cunningham (and husband Jimmie) of Princeton; five grandchildren, Audrey Finney (and husband Andrew) of Princeton, Kelsey Jones-Casey (and husband Ryan), Karis Jones, Isaak Jones and Eleanor Jones; and three great-grandchildren, Barrett Finney, Bryson Finney and Bauer Finney.
