Mr. Thomas died of natural causes at 12:45 a.m. on Tuesday, June 12, 2012, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville.
He was born on June 21, 1938, in Trigg County to the late Cevell Thomas and Jennie Thomas.
He was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church where he belonged to both the male and mixed choirs, as well as serving as deacon. He was employed by Bailey’s Lumber Company as a forklift driver.
He is survived by one daughter, Michelle Thomas of Cadiz; two sons, Stefan Thomas of Cadiz and Stacy Thomas of Lexington; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
