Funeral services for Ray Hendricks, 71, of Princeton, were held on Tuesday, June 19, 2012, at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton. The Rev. Jerrell White officiated. A private burial followed.

Mr. Hendricks died at 12:24 a.m. on Sunday, June 17, 2012, at Princeton Health and Rehab.

He was born on March 31, 1941, in Cadiz to the late Bob Hendricks and Lizzie Mae Sadler Hendricks.

He was a schoolteacher in Christian County, a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Kentucky Retired Teachers Association and Woodmen of the World.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Doris Peter; three brothers, Charles, Pate and Dick Hendricks.

He is survived by his wife Helen Wilber Hendricks; one brother, Gary Hendricks of Orlando, Fla.; two sons, David Hendricks (and wife Lisa) of Georgetown and Mark Hendricks (and wife Aleah) of Lexington; three step-daughters, Sharon Barber (and husband George), Deborah Hunsaker and Dianne Carroll, all of Princeton; seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
