Ora Burke died following complications with COPD at 2:46 p.m. on Sunday, June 10, 2012, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville.
She was born on Feb. 14, 1927, in Trigg County to the late Henry H. and Alice Burks Wills. She was a member of Eagle Way Church of Christ in Hopkinsville. She was active in all activities at the Chapel House.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lindsay T. Burke in 1984.
She is survived by one brother, Charles T. Wills of New Madrid, Mo.; her daughter, Linda Burke Vier of Hopkinsville; two grandchildren, Bobby Vier (and wife Cindy) and Amy Plummer (and husband Norman); and two great-grandchildren, Cameron and Bailey Vier.
