Mrs. Walker died of natural causes on Wednesday, July 18, 2012, at her daughter’s home in Hopkinsville.
Nancy was born on Sept. 6, 1924, in Trigg County to the late Albert and Bertha Burchett Turner.
She worked for Hopkinsville Clothing Factory and Kentucky-Tennessee Livestock Market. Nancy was a member of South Union Baptist Church and a lifetime member of the Eastern Stars.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John H. Walker in 1994; one brother, William Turner; and three sisters, Louise Carrington, Dorothy Stewart and Margie Dunn.
She is survived by one son, John T. Walker of Hopkinsville; three daughters, Kaye Pugh, Faye Thomas and Nancy “Voncile” Swinney, all of Hopkinsville; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
