Funeral services for Pat Dallas, 83, of Lone Oak, formerly of Cadiz, were held on Tuesday, July 24, 2012, at Lone Oak First Baptist Church. The Rev. Mike Williams and Dr. Dan Summerlin officiated. Burial followed in the Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Paducah. Milner and Orr Funeral Home in Paducah was in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Dallas died at 7:34 p.m. at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah.

She was an active member of Lone Oak First Baptist Church. Pat attended Cadiz High School and graduated from the University of Kentucky in 1950 with a Bachelor’s Degree in education. Mrs. Dallas was an avid basketball fan. She spent her days as a homemaker and an active church volunteer.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. John and Mary DeBaun Futrell; two sisters, Barbara Wombwell and Mary Frances Eggers; and one son, John Robert Dallas.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Anthony “Tony” Vernon Dallas, Sr.; one daughter, Kathy Kregor (and husband Michael John) of Wheaton, Ill.; one son, Dr. Anthony Dallas, Jr. (and wife Marguerite) of Hendersonville, Tenn.; six grandchildren, John Michael Kregor (and wife Beth), Jennifer Diane Kregor, Sarah Herrington (and husband Robert) Nathaniel Dallas, Mathew Dallas and Joseph Dallas; two great-grandchildren, Callen Herrington and Blakeley Herrington; and several nieces and nephews.
