Jo Alyce Harper, a member of the Trigg County Board of Education, is the only one to have filed at press time, said McGill. She represents the Fourth Board of Education District, which consists of the Bethesda and Northwest Cadiz precincts.
“They have some time,” said McGill.
Also up for election are Board Chairman Mike Davis, and Board Member Donnie Holland. Davis represents the Fifth Board of Education District, which consists of Cerulean, Montgomery, South Cadiz Two and Roaring Springs. Holland represents the Second Board of Education District, which consists of West Cadiz and South Cadiz One. They serve four-year terms.
All six of the members of the Cadiz City Council, who serve two-year terms, and the four members of the Trigg County Water Conservation Board, who serve four-year terms, are also up for election this year, said McGill.
