Funeral services for Stanley Crawford, 76, of Golo, formerly of Cadiz, were held on Sunday, Aug. 5, 2012. Burial followed in the New Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery. Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield was in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Crawford died on Friday, Aug. 3, 2012, at Murray Calloway County Hospital in Murray.

He was a member of the Bethel Church of Christ, a retired employee of Continental General Tire & Rubber Company and a service veteran of the United States Army.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Algie Hart Crawford; and three sisters.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Edith Landon Crawford; tow brothers, Eldon Crawford of Mayfield and Kenneth Crawford of Fulton; one son, Jerry Crawford (and wife Teena) of Golo; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
