Beginning at 5 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 23, there is going to be a “Neighborhood Night!” free concert on the front lawn of the Kenlake Hotel.

Neighborhood bands will be playing to help our neighbors in Trigg, Christian, Marshall and Calloway Counties. Donations will be accepted for Pennyroyal Arts Council, Genesis Express, Marshall County Exceptional School, and Murray WATCH.

People are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and listen to the likes of the Harper Brothers Band, the Alonzo Pennington Band, Night Fish, Rock Preservation Society and The Todd Hill Band featuring Kayla Dunn.

“Join us for this evening of outstanding music and then return for the full weekend of the Hot August Blues Festival,” said John Rittenhouse, manager of Kenlake State Resort Park. “It will be a KOOL KY NIGHT AT KENLAKE!”

Room rates at Kenlake begin at $49.95 for that night only! For more information call Kenlake at 1-800-325-0143.
