Mrs. Sumner died on Saturday, Aug. 25, 2012, at her home in Cadiz.
She was born on July 30, 1933, in Princeton to the late Roy and Oma Dunn.
June was of the Baptist faith and was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by one son, William “Butch” Sumner.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Billy Earl Sumner of Cadiz; three grandsons, William Earl Sumner of Cadiz, James Thomas Sumner of Cadiz and David Allen Sumner of Jackson, Tenn.; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews in the Princeton area.
Serving as pallbearers were David A. Sumner, James T. Sumner, Bubba Brewer, Jeff Catalog, Tommy Hanberry, Tim King, Dale Futrell and Jerry Holder. Honorary pallbearers were Marcellous Cooper, Clarence Boaz, Bobby Gillam, Jerry Holder, Edie McClain and Ralph Hudson. Music was provided by Martha Fortner, pianist.
