To the Editor:

The Trigg County Historical Society is hosting a “Historical Golden Pond Kentucky Exhibit” at the Trigg County Historical Museum, on Jefferson Street. This wonderful display showcases the “life and times” in Golden Pond when it was a beautiful town in the middle of what is now The Land Between The Lakes.

This exhibit will provide information on the men who served their country in World War II as well as the schools, churches and downtown area. Be sure to make time to visit the media center in the museum with photos and audio interviews with people form the area.

The exhibit is open now until October 14 on Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m- 4-p.m. and Sundays from 1-4 p.m.

The Historical Society is also planning a special Open House on Saturday, September 8 from 1-4 p.m. with special guest speaker and refreshments will be served. Everyone is encouraged to visit this historical display and relive a moment in time.
