Nick Choate and Madison Chaney have qualified to compete in the 2012 Kentucky All “A” Classic golf championship on Saturday, Sept. 8.

They earned their individual berths during Saturday’s All “A” 2nd Region Championship in Princeton.

It marks the third consecutive year for both Chaote and Chaney to advance to the state match. Choate went with the entire boys team as regional All “A” champs in 2010 and 2011, and Chaney was an individual qualifier those seasons.

This year, Choate led the Wildcats with an 18-hole score of 75 and was followed by Cole Gardner at 79, Kullen Garner at 82, Carter Sholar at 80 and Jackson Vinson at 94. Trigg shot a team score of 316, placing the ‘Cats second behind University Heights Academy.
