Trigg, coached by Danielle Lancaster, lost 5-3 to East Warren and 13-0 to South Warren on Friday, Aug. 24, and lost 12-0 to Caldwell and 6-4 to St. Mary and defeated Russellville 8-6 on Saturday, Aug. 25. In those games, Gracie Dixon pithed for Trigg and recorded 19 strikeouts. Addison Rogers and Autumn Durham each had a triple and a pair of doubles, and Arianna Brown had two triples.
Thursday’s first game was a 6-4 loss to Caldwell in which Dixon fanned three Lady Tigers and Rogers, Durham and Abby Bush each had a double. Trigg won the second game 8-7. Dixon struck out four and Hannah Colbert one, Rogers and Bush each had a triple and Logan Darnall had a double.
Trigg plays on Monday at Hopkinsville.
