Trigg lost 12-4 to Lyon in Thursday’s first game. Gracie Dixon pitched for Trigg and struck out four batters. Arianna Brown had a triple and a double, Addison Rogers had a triple and Autumn Durham had two doubles.
The second game ended 1-1 due to lightning. Dixon recorded two strikeouts, Brown had a triple and a double and Rogers had a double.
Monday, Trigg started the day with a 5-3 win over Hoptown. Dixon struck out seven Lady Tigers, and Brown, Logan Darnall and Emma Staples each had doubles.
Trigg then topped Hoptown 14-4 in the second game. Hannah Colbert pitched for Trigg and struck out seven, while Rogers had two triples and Durham and Colbert added two hits apiece.
Trigg will play Thursday at Livingston Central and Saturday in a tournament at University Heights, facing Hoptown at 8 a.m., UHA at 10:30 a.m., Lyon County at 2:15 p.m. and Caldwell County at 6 p.m. Trigg will also play Tuesday at Caldwell County.
