Funeral services for Wanda Thomas Rogers, 64, of Cadiz, were held on Sunday, Sept. 16, 2012, at Goodwin Funeral Home in Cadiz. The Revs. Greg Wells and Gary Heath officiated. Burial followed in the Little River Cemetery in Trigg County. Goodwin Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Rogers died of natural causes at 12:16 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 13, 2012, at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn.

Wanda was born on March 24, 1948, in Trigg County to the late Zealous “Buck” Earl and Cora Magdalene Patterson Thomas.

She was a member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church and was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by four brothers, Albert, Fred, Preston and James Marshall Thomas.

Wanda is survived by her husband, Roy Rogers of Cadiz; and one son Roy Jason Rogers, also of Cadiz.

Serving as pallbearers were Mathew and Frankie Phillips, Jason Oakley, Marc Terrell, John Boone and Maxfield Hendricks. Music was provided by Calvary Missionary Baptist Church Choir and Joan Terrell, pianist.
