The upcoming free to the public concert, Youth Explosion 2012, is a new experience for Trigg County and will almost certainly be the largest Christ based event in its history. Having a music group (Building 429), which has had five No. 1 hits on the national charts, and another group (Rapture Ruckus) from New Zealand is also a first for Trigg County.

In fact, there are a number of things our county will be experiencing for the first time with this event scheduled for Oct. 10 at 6 p.m. at the TCHS Gym. However, one part of the event with which Trigg County is not only familiar with, but proud of, is the Evangelistic speaker for the evening, Bro. Bill Fort.

Despite his absence from Trigg County for many years, due to his obedience to the Lord’s call on his life, Bill is 100-percent Trigg Countian at heart and has maintained a life long love affair with the town in which he was raised.

Bill’s parents, Willie and Nell Fort, were among the best known citizens of the county having owned and operated Economy Cee Bee Grocery and the lodging establishment formerly known as the Goodnite Motel.
