Funeral services for Hale Nunn, 85, of Cadiz, will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012, at Goodwin Funeral Home in Cadiz. The Revs. Irvin Darnall and Lester Watson will officiate. Burial will follow in the Fuller Cemetery in Trigg County. Goodwin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Dunn died on Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012, at Shady Lawn Nursing Center in Cadiz.

He was born on June 11, 1927, in Golden Pond to the late John Nunn and Minnie Gardner Nunn.

Hale was a retired heating and cooling technician. He was of the Baptist faith and was a Korean War United States Army veteran. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Annie Williams Nunn; two sisters, Viola Higgins and Mildred Dixon; and two brothers, William Nunn and James Nunn.

He is survived by special friend, Ruby Tinsley of Cadiz; three nephews, Leslie Higgins of Flat Rock, Mich., Johnny Nunn and Jimmy Nunn, both of Paducah; one neice, Bobbie Hillenbrand of Rotunda West, Fla.

Serving as pallbearers will be Bob Smith, Donnie Tinsley, Johnny Nunn, Jimmy Nunn, Leslie Higgins and Gene Gresham.
