Campbell, who joined the TCHS teaching staff this year, is a 2012 graduate of Murray State University and lives in Murray with her husband Matt Forrest, who serves as MSU’s director of football operations/offensive quality control.
Campbell is a 2007 graduate of Elmore County High School in Eclectic, Ala., a town she said shares similarities with Cadiz.
“It’s not a culture shock at all,” Campbell said. “I’m from a town in south Alabama that has one red light. My high school had around 450 students when I graduated and my senior class had 120, so this is actually just a little bigger.”
Campbell said she can’t guarantee a certain win-loss margin but can guarantee that “I will give my all for the girls,” a work ethic she expects to see mirrored by her players.
