Trigg County’s cross country team competed Saturday in the Logan County Cougar Run.

Trigg won the elementary school boys event; runners included the following: Daniel Martin, second, 8:25.3; Alex Skinner, third, 8:28; Dallas Ahart, sixth, 8:52.4; Jace Luton, seventh, 8:55; Anthony Ethridge, 11th, 9:16.8; Logan Hendricks, 16th, 9:55.4; Riley Stallons, 18th, 10:29.6.

Trigg was the only school to field enough runners for a team score in the elementary girls race; runners included the following: Emma Staples, first, 8:49.6; Breeanna Barnes, fifth, 9:54.2; Paige Dunn, ninth, 10:33.7; Morgan Alexander, 14th, 11:32.4; Isabella Alexander, 19th, 14:22.7.

Benson Stallons, the only Trigg runner in the middle school boys race, finished 45th in 15:34.4.

Trigg runners in the high school boys race included the following: J.B. Hendricks, 27th, 19:34; Matthew Chinn, 37th, 20:08.5; John Chinn, 61st, 21:40; Garrett Brown, 69th, 22:14.1; Caleb Martin, 81st, 24:32.4.

Trigg runners in the high school girls event included the following: Bethany Morgan, 37th, 26:41.2; Ashlyn Hatfield, 49th, 27:59.4; Morgan Hendricks, 51st, 28:01; Mallorie Godair, 68th, 32:36.9.

Trigg will host the annual Fenton Dawson Memorial Run at 4:30 p.m. Thursday at the U.S. 68/Ky. 80 entrance to Lake Barkley State Resort Park.
