Avanelle Galloway Hunter died on Monday, Oct. 8, 2012, at Wayne Patrick Hospice House.
She was the daughter of the late Arthur Bryan and Essie Cooper Galloway.
Avanelle was a member of the Church of Christ and was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by four brothers, William, Calvin, Gordon and Theron Galloway.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 66 years, H.C. Hunter of Rock Hill, S.C., formerly of Cadiz; three brothers, Kenneth Galloway of Charleston, S.C., Rudolph Galloway of Greenville, S.C. and Alger Galloway of Gaffney, S.C.; one sister, Rosella Robinson of Lake City, Fla.; three sons, Howell C. Hunter, Jr. (and wife Laura) of Ft. Mill, S.C., Rod E. Hunter (and wife Gwen), and Jake A. Hunter (and wife Kelly) of Indian Land, S.C.; two daughters, Mylynda H. Ross (and husband Donald) of Archdale, N.C., and Chequita Hunter; seven grandchildren, Jack Ross, Nathaniel Hunter, Kimberly Hunter, Erin Hunter, Ashlyn Hunter, Reagan Hunter and Camryn Hunter.
