Trigg took first place this weekend at the National Archery in the Schools Program’s World Championships at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Fla.
The Arrowcats recorded a score of 3,422 out of a possible 3,600, topping Alma Bryant (Ala.) High School by 14 points.
In the elementary division, Trigg’s only shooter was Kaylin Smith, who finished third in the division and 15th overall with a score of 288.
Trigg’s scores – including their standing in division and (overall) – in the middle school division were as follows:
Clay Stevens, 287, sixth (24th); Deanna Ladd, 287, eighth (18th); Kaila Cunningham, 287, 10th (22nd); Kimberlee Shelton, 271, 45th (134th); Lora Lee Heady, 269, 52nd (146th); Cole Holland, 265, 88th (241st); Katelyn Futrell, 264, 68th (182nd).
