Funeral services for Elefreda Givan Moore, 78, of Princeton, formerly of Cadiz, were held on Thursday, Oct. 11, 2012, at King’s Funeral Home in Cadiz. The Revs. John Mitchell and Jessie Cavness officiated. Burial followed in the Green Hills Memorial Gardens in Hopkinsville. King’s Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Elefreda Moore died following a long illness at 8:45 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2012, at her home.

She was born on April 9, 1934, in Glendale to John Hiram Givan and Lillie Aubrey Givan.

Elefreda was a homemaker and was of the Christian faith.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Harold Moore; one brother, William Leroy Givan; and two sisters, Hattie Lenora Totman and Myrtle Viola Ezell.

She is survived by one brother, John Wesley Givan of Elizabethtown; three sisters, Martha Puckett of Louisville, Virginia Ray of Louisville and Mary Lou (Whitney) Givan of Elizabethtown; two step-daughters, Adelia Ann Meadows of Elizabethtown and Jane Davis of Madison, Ala.; six step-grandchildren, 16 step-great-grandchildren; special niece and caretakers Richard and Paulette Mitchell of Princeton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
