Elefreda Moore died following a long illness at 8:45 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2012, at her home.
She was born on April 9, 1934, in Glendale to John Hiram Givan and Lillie Aubrey Givan.
Elefreda was a homemaker and was of the Christian faith.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Harold Moore; one brother, William Leroy Givan; and two sisters, Hattie Lenora Totman and Myrtle Viola Ezell.
She is survived by one brother, John Wesley Givan of Elizabethtown; three sisters, Martha Puckett of Louisville, Virginia Ray of Louisville and Mary Lou (Whitney) Givan of Elizabethtown; two step-daughters, Adelia Ann Meadows of Elizabethtown and Jane Davis of Madison, Ala.; six step-grandchildren, 16 step-great-grandchildren; special niece and caretakers Richard and Paulette Mitchell of Princeton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
