CROSS COUNTRY: Trigg competes in Christian County cross country invitational

Trigg County’s cross country team competed Saturday in the Christian County Invitational.

Trigg runners competing in the varsity boys race included J.B. Hendricks (67th, 19:03.9), Matthew Chinn (88th, 19:30.7) and Garrett Brown (132nd, 20:53.1).

In the middle school girls race, Trigg runners were Libby Redd (38th, 19:59.4), Bethany Morgan (40th, 20:03.1), Morgan Hendricks (42nd, 20:32.7), Ashlyn Hatfield (43rd, 20:41.1) and Mallorie Godair (63rd, 21:55.8).

Trigg runners in the middle school boys race were Caleb Martin (44th, 17:18.4), John Chinn (45th, 17:20.3) and Benson Stallons (72nd, 18:42.6).

In the elementary school girls race, Trigg runners were Emmarae Staples (10th, 13:57.3), Breeanna Barnes (19th, 14:48), Paige Dunn (25th, 16:10.7) and Carlee Adams (34th, 17:07.3).

In the elementary boys race, Trigg runners were Alex Skinner (20th, 12:58.3), Daniel Martin (24th, 13:09.1), Dallas Ahart (46th, 14:17.1), Jace Luton (50th, 14:22.7), Anthony Ethridge (59th, 15:28.4) and Logan Hendricks (59th, 15:28.4).

The Class AA 1st Region championship meet is set for Saturday, Nov. 3 at Logan County High School.
