On Wednesday, Sept. 12, Chapter 1730 of the National Active and Retired Federal Employees (NARFE) began their fall season with a Potluck Luncheon at the Trigg County Historical Museum.

The luncheon was followed by a tour of the Museum and the Golden Pond Exhibit. Mrs. Joann Harvey who is a former resident of the Land Between the Rivers and was actively involved in compiling the Golden Pond exhibit, gave a description of life in the Land Between the Rivers. She also acted as the guide to the exhibit and explained the items on display.

On Wednesday, Oct. 10, Chapter members met at the Cadiz Senior Center.

Guest Speaker was Mrs. Janet James, Director of Human Resources and Compliance for Trigg County Hospital and Mrs. Gail Franks, Chief Nursing Officer at Trigg County Hospital. James and Franks discussed the current and planned changes at the hospital. NARFE invited seniors who were present at the Senior Center to join their meeting, so they could share in the news about Trigg County Hospital.
